The Gay Restaurant of Our Imagination
You are in an Ivy-covered stuccoed French Bistro playing Piaf, under beautiful canvas umbrellas, in front of a golf-course putting-green quality lawn surrounded by lush flowers. Your food is served - buffalo hamburger with highly-seasoned perfect fries, or mushroom-artichoke quiche, or a goat cheese & honey crusted baguette salad with blueberries and truffled herb dressing. Sundays has the same with endless mimosas, and german-style bacon-and-egg pizzas from the brick-fired oven. Not super-gay, but with the adjacent ThompsonHanson antiques & high-end nursery - well, all the men owning/working there seem to be gay. If you feel like a semi-luxurious special lunch for two in a setting straight out of Elle Decor or Wallpaper, but perfectly prepared absolutely delicious, and inventive lunch food, this is the place. Worth a trip out of the way. They need to hold back on salt unfortunately, at times.
